Hello Darling! I’m Madison but my favorite students call me Madi B.
I love teaching 11th Grade English. One of my favorite things about my job is getting to analyze literature on a daily basis. I’ve been teaching now for 11 years. This is my 4th year teaching 11th grade. My first 7 years I taught 9th grade and I was the Student Body Advisor. Basically the whole time I’ve taught, I’ve had a mix of co-taught classes, regular, and honors classes.
In addition to being a teacher and Teachers Pay Teachers author, I’m married to the nicest guy, David, aka DB or Mr. Brown. We have 2 little kids; a girl who is 8 and a boy who is 4. I love being a wife and mom. I love fashion, reading, cooking, shopping, planning, and decorating.
As a teacher I believe that relationships are the most important thing to cultivate in your classroom. I love to plan fun, engaging lessons for my students, but I also have a pretty rigorous curriculum. I teach very traditional American Classics. Things that we do D A I L Y in my class: ACT Prep, writing citations correctly, grammar mini lessons, and reading/writing.
I love creating aesthetic content for my students and other teachers to use. I love Rifle Paper and their aesthetic. Many of my designs are inspired by their fonts and colors. I want to allow teachers to have more time with their families and to be able to do things that they love doing OUTSIDE of the classroom.
